Course Overview

Beverley Westwood, with its landmark Black Mill, is home to the ancient Beverley and East Riding Golf Club, founded in 1889 is one of Yorkshire's oldest and most natural golf courses.

It boasts an enviable mix of parkland and links style golf whilst taking full advantage of the beautiful views of Beverley Minster and its market town. The club is proud to be the home of the East Riding Union of Golf Clubs.

The Beverley Westwood golf course is a true and fair test of golf, offering a challenge to every player. When visiting East Yorkshire for a truly memorable days golf the glorious Westwood is a unique setting. Ride on single seat buggies now available, please book in advance.

Beverley & East Riding Golf Club remains one of those rare places in UK golf that feels genuinely different. While so many courses have evolved toward a somewhat similar template, the area has been shaped by ancient historical landscaping, and natural contouring, an experience that simply doesn’t exist on the majority of courses. It has year round natural drainage due to the chalk seam which lays conveniently under the Glorious Westwood.

The course can also boast of having the best year round greens in the region.
