Skidby Lakes Golf Course

Set in 150 acres of picturesque parkland

18 Holes Par 68 Slope Rating 129 Length 6158 yards

Course Overview

Set in 150 acres of picturesque parkland, the Skidby Lakes course offers a different yet equally challenging test to that of the Cottingham Parks.

The course was opened in 1999 by Sir Ian Botham, and Skidby Lakes became part of the Cottingham Leisure portfolio a decade later in 2008. Like the Parks course, the Lakes benefits from an extensive landscaping and a planting program of more than 3,000 trees.

In 2016 the course was redesigned to produce a better flow and add more variety for golfers, notably with the introduction of some ‘dog leg’ holes which came into play in May 2017.

Although the Par was subsequently reduced to 68, the blend of holes coupled with the smaller and sometimes tricky greens really add to the challenge, and appeal to all levels of golfer.
